Head of Communications Frieze is searching for an experienced Head of Communications to deliver the public relations, marketing and digital plans to raise international awareness across its publishing, events and non-profit organisations. The main purpose of the role is to manage Frieze's positive external profile and will require working closely with external agencies and media partners. The ideal candidate will bring to the role excellent contacts and experience of raising awareness in target audiences. They will also have proven experience of growing audiences at an international level, using a multi-channel approach to drive audience engagement and support Frieze’s commercial partners. Senior level experience within marketing, public relations & communications, is required. All applicants should also have experience delivering complex and ambitious projects, leading digital initiatives, and a strong analytical aptitude and attention to detail. In addition, they should have experience of people line management and agency management, and knowledge of the art world. It will be seen as advantageous for candidates to be educated to postgraduate level in a relevant subject, and to have some understanding of the events industry. Marketing Manager Requirement: full-time, fixed-term (maternity cover) Location: London office Salary: details on application Deadline: 4pm on 4 March 2015 Start date: late April/early May 2015 Frieze is searching for a Marketing Manager to cover a maternity period lasting between 6 to 12 months, in its Communications Department. The role involves developing new and honing existing marketing and promotional initiatives for all Frieze activities. All candidates require solid, relevant marketing experience within an arts or events environment, as well as awareness of digital marketing and social media. They should also be excellent at analysing marketing data and producing reports. Experience of managing timelines, production and proofing processes is a definite advantage. Candidates should be highly organised, meticulous, quality-focused individuals with exceptional communication and customer service skills, and thrive in a busy environment. Experience within the arts industry is desirable, but not essential.
